Description: Antique Wooden Painters Easel Portable Folding Field -Artists Tripod New England. This recently came out of a historic NH barn. Former owners purchased the barn in 1970 full of its original contents including this easel. It’s a portable “field” easel that could be taken with the artist to whatever landscape they planned to paint. I’m honestly not sure if it’s 100% complete or not but most of its here if not. Seems to be in good condition except the bottom of one of the expandable legs. The tip of the bottom of one is broken. The other two legs can be set to match the length of the broken leg though so you should still be able to set it level. Nice brass hardware with original patina is present. The owners name, “Rose” was painted onto one of the pieces. Very cool antique piece. Might be a nice way to display a painting in the home if it’s not purchased to be used. I’m sure someone can get it setup and figured out if they are handy. Boston pickup only for now. Thanks
