The twin-handled antique platter dates to the early 20th century.....The porcelain insert is a Secessionist -- also called Jugendstil and Art Nouveau......This dates from the earliest years of the 20th century.....The Delft hand painted pattern as an ambiguous face form in the plant pattern if you really look.....The tray is surrounded by a pierced silvertone brass metal gallery with a sturdy handle at either end.....Measures 16 in.
