Description: Mora Clock movementl, probably from about 1750-1850. Movement was made in Sweden (handmade, probably by a farmer during the winter time). Google Mora Clocks for more information. This one has all metal gears gears and plates. Should have two different bells, but one is missing. NOTE: Hour wheel on the front is missing. This will likely require a custom replacement from a skilled clockmaker. Otherwise, pretty reasonable piece for restoration. This movement will require a fully cleaning and likely additional work to get it working again. Likely that some bushings will need replaced or other work. Note that it is missing the case, dial, weights, and pendilum. No dial. See my other listings for some origional dials if you are interested. This is a project. I obtained this from Sweden. It is real/historic. I charge only what ebay charges to ship.
