Description: Antique Staffordshire Pink Lustre Embossed Cherubs Decorated Jug or Pitcher, England, c. 1820 - 1845. This Staffordshire jug is a wonderful example of early lusterware with a pink lustre trim and an embossed cherubs and tree design to each side. The jug has an embossed shaped spout with an applied shaped handle. The pitcher is unmarked but dates from the first part of the 19th century. I offer this shaped lustreware cherubs jug with no reserve and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The pitcher stands 5 3/8" H. x 3 15/16" W. x 6 9/16" L. from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle. CONDITION: The condition is very good with an in-the-making chip to the spout that has pink lustre over it with some nicks to the spout as well.
