Description: ANTIQUE "SKIPPER" BRAND BRITISH NAVY CUT RICHARD LLOYD & SONS LONDON TOBACCO TIN This is an EMPTY antique lithographed tin container that used to hold tobacco. It advertises for Skipper Brand British Navy Cut tobacco from the Richard Lloyd & Sons Company out of London. This product won a gold medal in London in 1897 as seen on the top lid. Rectangular shaped container has an attached hinged lid on top and writing inside the lid that shows Lloyd & Sons was a branch of Cope Bros. & Co. Ltd.. Tin has some wear present but overall is nice for its age and displays nicely. Please see pictures for design and condition detail. Measures about 6 and 3/4" long by 1.5" tall when closed by 4" thick. Wonderful antique Skipper British Navy Cut Tobacco tin would be a great display piece for your collection. Don't miss it.
