Description: Antique Porcelain Hand Painted Dessert Set Service for 12 Circa 1850 A stunning Victorian period porcelain dessert, service for 12, circa 1850. Probably English or French, or possibly German, no makers stamp/mark anywhere. The set is all hand painted and each plate is slightly different with regards to the central floral painting. With a peach border and lots of gold. There are 12 plates and three serving dishes. The plates are all in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. There is some wear to the gold edges on the plates. One of the serving dishes has an old staple repair and the other one has a hairline crack. Please see all photos of both front and back. The plates are 9" across. One serving dish is 11 1/2" by 8 1/2". The other one is 10" by 9". There is an associated serving dish with the set that was probably made by the same maker, but in a slightly different pattern.
