Description: 2 late 17th early 18th century brass and steel pillar clock movements for birdcage or lantern clock.Having most parts with them. But clearly missing some screws ,1 hand as these look to be 1 hand time pieces.1 anchor escapement missing one pulley missing and a few other pieces. I can see some lettering on a bracket seems to read perhaps I M or 1 M also another pillar has the numbe 43 smartly off centred itallic engraved into it. Many of the cogs are bimetalic. The anchor should help date these. All parts including columns are brass or bronze .heavily tarnished.Having another group of parts in rusted but viable steel . cage size approx 6.75 x5.6x4.5 inches and the other 6.1 x 4.6 x5.6 inches A fabulous lot of extremely rare original period parts for restoration projects..Good luck to the lucky buyer of these .They will be turned into something very valuable I am sure
