Description: Antique Italian Folk Art Puppet Show Travel Suitcase with handmade puppets. Original 1920-30 leather travel suitcase used to transport antique Italian puppet show puppets. Case is all leather with travel stickers from Italy to London and back to Italy, 1920 and 1930 dates. Case measures 22” by 18” by 7” with good clasps and handles, no keys. Opens up to reveal 9 puppets in total. Some are wood, some are wood and paper Mache, some paper Mache. All puppets are handmade and hand painted with original hand made costumes. They are well used and played with but are still working and highly animated. Sold as found, see photos for details. You get the case and the 9 puppets dating from 1920-1950.
