One of its title pages states that it is a "Reduction For Piano Solo" (Riduzione Per Pianoforte Solo). Iris premiered November 22, 1898 at the Teatro Costanzi in Rome. The story is set in Japan during legendary times. The book contains 197 numbered pages. Please note that there is damage to the spine and the book shows overall wear. The corners of a few pages show a corner crease where it was once folded down. A quick flip through its pages reveals no writing on any of the age tanned pages.
