Description: ANTIQUE GERMAN 800 STERLING SILVER DECORATIVE ORNATE BOWL CHERUBS. Up for your consideration a 17th Century German 800 Silver ornate bowl. It features a couple of cherubs with a lot of flowers and shell decoration. There is more flower decoration on the rim, with 2 flower baskets. I could make out the 800 mark, which is followed by another mark, which I can't make out.. It is quite big with following measurements: 11 x 9 x 2. It weights 348 grams. I could not find any damage or breaks. There might be any old fix on the bottom rim, which you can see in the last pictures. Also there is a small nick in one of the plain medallions, very, very minor. Perfect to add to any collection or to display. I did not to attempt to clean this in any matter which is no distraction from the true timeless beauty of the piece. Questions welcome!
