Description: A very time worn tattered treasure. Circa early 1900. These are always fascinating finds. Used & reused speaks of this time period, shortly before the great depression. By the size, I feel possibly made for a hired hands bed? The darling patterns most likely old pieces of clothing. Certainly a sweet piece that has it’s own story. There is something incredibly charming about this lovely antique patchwork quilt. Most certainly not a pristine textile. Faded and worn and as they say, much loved! The pattern of the patch pieces, the way the hues have faded and all of it;s primitive qualities it's amassed through the many years. The fact that someone hung on to it regardless of it's wear and tear.I have tried to show all of it's time spent bumps and bruises in my photos. I also have more photos if needed as ebay only allows 12 so please ask.It's a fantastic comfy cozy styling piece in a primitive or shabby cottage farmhouse nuance.
