Description: To me, this appears quite ancient and primitively done. It appears to be bronze. The head is 5" wide and about 4" deep including the tongue. It weighs 2lbs. There is a light crack underneath the mouth. This was from the estate of a very prominent Asian art collector, but Asian art experts do not believe it is of Asian origin. The collector did have it prominently displayed so I assume from that it could be a notable piece. Unfortunately we do not have better identifying information for you. Please use your own judgement. Cheers, and good luck with your bids! We will only ship to a confirmed Paypal address. Items over $100 will be shipped insured with Signature Confirmation required. The cost for this is included in the shipping cost. If you are not present when the post office attempts delivery you will need to pick the item up at your local post office. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please check back often - We are listing items as quickly as possible. We describe items as best we can - we would rather receive a lower price by pointing out every flaw than incorrectly describe an item just to obtain a higher selling price.
