Description: Antique Estate Art Deco period Fly in Spider Web pendant necklace. This is an unusual necklace in 14k Gold depicting a fly caught in a stylized spider’s web. The gold fly is accented with a Sapphire body and Seed Pearl wings. Necklace measures approx. 17 inches in length and weighs about 6.3g. Pendant is approx. 7/8 inches in diameter. The closure is a push lock with an extra snap catch. There is a 14k mark on the chain loop and catch. The necklace is in very good pre-owned condition with perhaps a repair to the chain (an extra ring is visible in the photos), and there may be a tiny flea bite on the sapphire, visible only under magnification. Also, to be safe, I would have a jeweler check to make sure the clasp mechanism is secure.
