Description: READ READ READ AND READINSTRUCTIONS WILL BE PROVIDED TO HELP YOU REMOVE YOUR DRIVER DASH HARNESS This is a SERVICE where you, an owner of a 1997-2001 (and 1996.5) 5th Generation Honda Prelude (ALL TRIMS) can have your cluster harness adapted to swap in and run a 99-03 AP1 Honda S2000 Digital Cluster. For this service, you will need to be able to do the following, which I will also include in a file I will send you: 1. Pull and ship me your DRIVER SIDE dash harness. 5th gen Preludes are blessed with a dashboard harness that can come out in halves. To pull the driver side harness out, you'll need to pull out the switch bezel, stock cluster, radio, and center dash vents to pull all necessary connectors out. Once this is pulled, it'll need to be boxed up to be shipped. 2. Secure a KTuned S2000 Dash Converter. Purchase one through any vendor of your choice, though I'd recommend just going through KTuned. Have this ready and ship it in WITH your driver side dash harness. 3. (Optional) If you have AP1 S2000 Cluster pigtails already, let me know ahead of ordering, and send them with the dash harness and KTuned converter. I can discount the overall price with these being provided to me. 4. Let me know your current tire size so I can calibrate the speedometer to be as close as possible. For fuel, you'll be able to turn the calibration knob on the KTuned converter to adjust the level. I will send instructions. Once the harness adaptation is completed, it will be shipped back to you. Currently, no mounting bezels are made for these cars to clean up what will be a good bit of open space surrounding the S2000 cluster. It will be up to you to choose on your own how to make a bezel of some sort to clean up the final install at this time. TEMPERATURE GAUGE WARNING: For reasons still unknown, but likely due to programming of the dash converter, Prelude owners who swap to these clusters never have a proper working temperature gauge. Most temperature correction solutions for these cluster swaps tend to be programmed excellently for B and D series cars, which some do share gauge temp sensors with 5th gen Preludes, but for some reason (possibly due to different voltage applied to the sensor by Preludes), these solutions still can't dial in accurate temperatures for Prelude applications. This being said, I HIGHLY recommend running a STANDALONE TEMPERATURE GAUGE from companies such as Glowshift, AEM, Autometer, etc. IF YOU DESIRE HAVING THE ABILITY TO SWITCH BACK TO YOUR STOCK CLUSTER AT YOUR WILL, YOU WILL NEED TO SECURE ANOTHER DRIVER SIDE DASH HARNESS FOR YOUR PRELUDE. I WILL WARN YOU, 1997 MODELS NEED TO USE A 1997 DASH HARNESS, AND NEWER CARS CANNOT USE THE 1997 DASH HARNESS AS CONNECTORS CHANGED BEHIND THE DASH. FOR AUTOMATIC CARS: YOU WILL END UP LOSING YOUR GEAR INDICATION, SO BE WARNED IF YOU'RE A SPORTSHIFT USER. YOU WILL ALSO LOSE THE ABILITY TO SEE A FLASHING D4 IF YOUR TRANSMISSION GRENADES. YOU CAN HOWEVER, RUN AND TUCK THE GEAR INDICATOR ASSEMBLY SOMEWHERE BEHIND OR NEXT TO THE S2000 CLUSTER IF YOU PULL IT FROM YOUR STOCK CLUSTER.
