Description: In this lot, you’ll receive some titles that are thankfully converted to both DVD & Blu-ray by Green Frog Productions. They are: 1. Coal story, the 4th & final volume of the CSX this is clinchfield series from 1992 2. 611 on saluda, the American altavista version of the October 1992 coverage from the 1950 built Norfolk & western 4-8-4 struggling on the 4% grade in North Carolina which this route was abandoned after 2001. 3. Clinchfield Santa & the 676: the American altavista version of Union Pacific challenger 3985 on the CSX Christmas train in November of 1992 which fun fact: aside from other producers who attended the once in a lifetime event for the once largest operating steam engine in the world during the modern era from 1981 to 2010 until it was overtaken by Big Boy 4014 in May of 2019, some of the onboard footage from both the cab & the observation car was used in the original editing of the Greg Scholl video productions version. 4. Old Milwaukee on the new, the American altavista version of the final run of steam through the new river gorge from Huntington to Hinton West Virginia with Milwaukee road 261 in October of 1994 as many other well known producers were also there for 261’s only trips through the former Chesapeake & Ohio mainline. And 5. This is clinchfield volume 3 part 1: Cab ride from Erwin to Elkhorn City Kentucky-a northbound trip through countless curves in the Appalachian Mountains. Note: part 2 of volume 3 covers the southbound route to the southernmost end of the clinchfield mainline at Spartanburg South Carolina. What’s also interesting is that 3 out of 5 of these titles: one for the northbound cab ride, one with 3985/676, & one with 261 were recorded on Maxell tapes.
