About the Souvenir Sheet:This issue consists of a souvenir sheet with three stamps, the ones representing three out of the seven Constitutions released in Brazil. The first one coming in 1824, during the Empire; the current one, enacted in 1988; and that one from 1934, representing the mid-term (110 years) that provided great evolution from its predecessor, the first in the republican time, in 1891 Each stamp depicts one of those peculiar books and also, displayed written, some of their remarkable characteristics. As background, the illustration of a book with its pages turning on, showing evolution of the history and the constitutions, in shades of brown, trying to create a historical atmosphere and showing those five law sections of the First Article in the Brazilian Constitution of 1988. This souvenir sheet makes a set with the 200 Years of the Brazilian Senate, having the same size, number of stamps, face value and the particular micro perforation at the bottom side. The technique was vectorial illustration.
