Description: This listing is for a set of three 2023 Edith Kanaka'ole Quarters from the American Women series. These are beautiful, uncirculated coins taken directly from Mint rolls. You will receive one example of each of the business-strike mintmarks, P, D and S. Since 2012, the San Francisco mint has produced business-strike examples of each quarter design, bearing the "S" mintmark. These coins were not released into circulation, but sold only to the collector market. The set in this listing includes the S-mint business strike for the Edith Kanaka'ole design, which is now sold out at the mint. All business-strike coins (no matter where you buy them) will usually have some contact marks and/or surface spotting. This is because the mint doesn't take special handling precautions with business-strikes like they do with proof coins.
