The Active Duty is no longer available for sale through the Busse Combat because it's Sold Out, and has been Discontinued! The Busse Active Duty was introduced by Jerry Busse in 2002 and has since been discontinued even though it is one of the most popular and versatile models. The size of the knife makes it very easy to wear and carry everywhere if you prefer fixed blades to be on you at all times. So in 2009 Busse Combat decided to make a handful of these Active Duty with different color G10 for the first ever Easton Trunk Show. This was the very first time I was able to buy knives directly from Busse in person and would end up being one of many times, I would be buying knives directly from them! So this one has a Flat Ground Hand Finished Satin Blade with a V-Ground Edge. There were never a production of Active Duty with this blade finish and thickness. They chose to got with a Textured Tequila Sunrise G10 Handle for this knife. Because there were only a handful of these made, there were only a few color G10s and this was the only one in this color G10 which makes this a "One of a Kind" for an Active Duty! This color Tequila Sunrise G10 was just released in 2009 and this was a variant as most of them were Red Tequila Sunrise. Not many of knives made with this color G10 and for those true collectors, they all know the Tequila Sunrise G10 has been discontinued from Busse. The handle is a strong darker color of the Tequila Sunrise with a unique pattern of G10 which can not ever be ordered and was an Exclusive. This is Beautiful and feels great in the Hand. I really love the thickness on this knife along with the weight and balance in your hand. The Factory V-Ground Edge is Razor Sharp! This knife has been in my personal collection since I purchased it in 2009 and has been kept as a safe queen. This is Brand New, never used, carried or sharpened. This is made of the infamous INFI Steel which is a proprietary Steel is used ONLY by Busse Combat! This knife will be backed 100% with Lifetime Warranty from Busse Combat!
