And compared to normal Cholla stock, these thicker pieces will also last the longest in a submerged aquarium environment. Boiling the pieces in hot water (to make the pieces sink faster) is optional. All Cholla will eventually sink in water. As you can see from the pictures, after our cleaning process, the detail of this unique cholla wood really shows.
