Description: ITEM: (2) Large, vintage, original PHOTOS as follows: Side one: The Baldwin Jewelry Company building is now known as the Jewelry Trades building and is located at 25-33 Kearny near Geary Streets in San Francisco. The architects were Bliss & and Faville, and the building was finished 3 years after the earthquake in 1909. There is a horse and carriage on the street at right. Inside the windows can be see the following signs: Lowe, Donald & Co. Woollens / Waterhouse Resher & Kahn New York Woolens S. Leopold / L.A. Peterson Tailor Side two: The Severence building was located at 6th and Main Streets in Los Angeles. The architect was William Curlett. This building is a mystery! I could not find any building in Los Angeles named Severence, and when I did a Google Lens search, it was not in the finding. If you recognize this building, please let me know. It was probably torn down. Date: 1909 & c. 1910 Size of photo area: 7.50" x 9.25" (Severence building) Size of photo area: 8.00" x 9.50" (Baldwin building) Size of board area: 9.75" x 11.50" Location: San Francisco County & Los Angeles County, California, USA Condition: Details are excellent.
