Ratings are based on the visual appeal of the wheel cover as well as the physical condition of the metal...but not paint (if applicable). The highlighted BLUE section (above) shows the wheel cover grade for this listing. ORIGINAL YEAR OF USE: 1974-1978 Eldorado (Fits all 1967-78 Eldorado FWD 15" steel rims). ITEM CONDITION: This auction is for ONE wheel cover in Grade "A--" condition, per the ranking scale listed above. This quality range is considered "PRETTY GOOD". Wheel covers in this range are visually appealing with several noted minor flaws. The Perimeter Outer Rim is Excellent, lacking common curb scuffs and hammer dings. The Spokes are Excellent too -- all there, straight and true - none bent or twisted. The Center Face (what you mostly see) is also as well -- free of stone dents, crease, deep scratches, etc. The Outer Crown top area is where the damage is - it has some areas of scratches/rashing lines at several points around it. They are just surface level rash scratches - but the one in the top right area (about 5" long) resulted in some metal wobble too. The Crest has been color restored, so that it looks bold and beautiful, and goes well with the shiny original Chrome Wreath. Overall this wheel cover is decently presentable (Pretty Good) but outside of my "Very Good" or "Excellent" Zone ratings (visit my eBay store or message me if you need something of that quality level). PHOTO CONDITIONS: Various outdoor (late afternoon) locations in sunlight, tree shade and full shade locations. Caddypartz pictures are among the best on eBay! Taken very close up, from all angles, and in colorful high resolution. The wheel cover was test mounted on an Eldorado rim and fit decently. All of my wheel covers have been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc..... A dirty and stinky wheel cover will NOT be coming your way! Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well. Keep your expectations realistic, this is a 50+year old wheel cover with lower than average use characteristics. Therefore NO other front or rear wheel drive hubcaps will ever work on the Eldo...just the original factory ones.** NOTE: This is an old-school wheel cover! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get it to fit perfect on your steel wheels....especially if you have balancing weights. This wheel cover will fit any 1971-78 Eldorado with the stock factory 15" steel rims. Cadillac never offered anything else but that rim back in the day.
