Description: This is a set of six Model 611 chairs designed by Aino and Alvar Aalto in 1929. These examples were produced circa 1970s and have been recently reupholstered with natural color webbing. The frame is made from birch, which is then lacquered. The chairs are overall in very good to excellent vintage condition. The frames show wear from use over the years. The webbing looks terrific. These are guaranteed as original Artek examples. The chairs each measure 19 inches wide by 31.5 inches tall and 19.25 inches deep. The seat height is 16.75 inches. The buyer may pick up the furniture, have it shipped by our shipping partners (buyer will pay for full shipping cost, though will not have to arrange it), or discuss potential delivery within reason following the end of the auction.
