Description: For sale is a NOS 9795506 1972 GTO console shift opening escutcheon. What is really strange about this is that it has the rare 1971 wood grain on it. Not sure if it's been changed but it is the metal backed factory style. Picking tag is dated 8-71 and this will work for any 1969-72 GTO/Judge/LeMans with 3 speed automatic transmission. The only difference is the wood grain. I would consider the chrome really good for it's age. I tried to take pictures of any issues. I need to point out one thing that is hard to see and that is the wood grain has shrunk or was trimmed a little off at the factory on one end. Original escutcheons almost always have broken clips and are very hard to repair. Repos are well...repos. This is available much cheaper purchased locally.
