1965 Fender Bandmaster Blackface Tube Amp Head Model AB763 Vintage Rare Works!

Description: 1965 Fender Bandmaster Model AB763 Electric Guitar Amplifier Head Made in USA I bought this amp from my friend Steve Melkisethian of Angela Instruments of Laurel, Maryland back in 1985. He did some work on the amp and updated the power cord. When I got the amp from Steve, I noticed the cabinet needed a bit of refurbishing so I re-covered it with smooth blonde Tolex and re-grilled with wheat grille. I also changed the hardware except for the piggy-back slide brackets. I took it to my current amp tech in August, 2024 and he replaced the filter caps, powered it for an hour and checked operation. He says it’s now in great shape. I put a piece of plastic over the tube chart to preserve it and also left the Angela Instruments card that had been glued in the cabinet bottom.
