Description: EXTREMELY RARE! A Football from the 1958 Championship Game between the Baltimore Colts and the New York Giants. The NFL still considers this game, The Greatest Game Ever Played. 17 Hall of Fame players, coaches and announcers came from this game. This ball came from Fred Schubach, who was the long time Equipment Manager for the Baltimore Colts. Mr Schubach gave a few of these away to family and friends after the game. There is no paperwork with this ball as it was a gift decades ago. Mr Schubach passed away in 2000. The ball doesn't hold air 100% as the bladder is damaged, but it does hold air about 75%. The ball itself (besides the bladder) is in great condition. The ball had "COLTS CHAMPS 1958" on it when it was gifted from Mr. Schubach years ago. I saw another ball that sold at auction that also came from Mr Schubach from the 1958 Championship game that sold for over $16000. I attached a picture of the other ball that was sold at auction from Mr Schubach. I've started bidding WAY less than the other ball that sold. Make me an offer and it could be yours today! I'm a local Baltimore guy with a ton of Baltimore Colts memorabilia. This is a treasured piece of my collection. I'm going to be retiring soon and am looking to downsize. I'm hoping this goes to a Baltimore Colts fan who will appreciate it!
