Description: Offered for your consideration is a 1953 invitation and set of two tickets for a baseball benefit dinner held by the American Legion post of Morrill, Nebraska. These items are printer's proofs, and have never been in circulation. The invitation is printed on a nice embossed card stock; the tickets are printed on two-ply card stock. A few general advisories: I do not purport to be a professional grader of any items. As such, I always attempt to provide adequate information (description, photos, etc.) to allow prospective buyers to ascertain the condition of items offered for sale according to their standards. Unless otherwise noted, all ephemera is shipped with original fold lines followed; no "new" folding is done. For previously unfolded items, these are shipped flat or in tubes.Unless noted, postcard photos are all "raw" scans; i.e., they have not been color-corrected or otherwise enhanced. As such, handwritten text on back, as well as any folds, creases, etc. may not fully translate through the scan process.
