Description: PRODUCT DESCRIPTION1935-S San Diego Commemorative Half Dollar coin graded by NGC at MS66+. COMMENTSNearly Superb Gem PQ coin with excellent luster, surface, and a strong strike. This specimen carries pleasing overall Champagne-Gold toning on both sides. The obverse is a lighter shade of the same tone with less edge toning but brilliant with glistening luster. Towards the edges, especially on the obverse, there is a beautiful blend of mahogany, magenta, purple, and even some limes under a loupe. At MS66+, PCGS cites less than 300 graded higher so this is an excellent piece for the more discriminating collector. This is a marvelous collectible commemorative coin for those completing a type set or simply a fondness for this lovely slice of history! Feel free to request other photos and we'd be happy to provide. We shot a few sets on this one with different lighting characteristics but no filtering or doctoring - all natural photos! As is the case with many originally toned coins, this one isn't easy to capture it's entire natural neon iridescence. As eBay sellers, we want to be sure there is no mystery with coin you are buying!!!
