Description: This listing is for the bottom or lower of these early, Type 1, 1903 Striker Rods. The listing is for the rod pictured on bottom. It is the earlier of the two, from the 1903-1917 period as indicated by the type of knurling on the rear. It is apparently blued. Both are Type 1, 1903. Neither is marked, as best I can tell from wiping grease away from the normal places they were marked. Both rods appear new and unused. Each rod was wrapped individually in the early, two ply, red and tan storage paper with heavy cosmoline. Again, this listing is only for the lower, earlier one. The upper one has sold.
