Description: Circa 1890's or so cabinet card photograph showing six Middle Eastern soldiers. They all have swords. We don't know which Middle Eastern country they are from. Perhaps they are Turkish? Four wear fez type hats. The cabinet card measures 7 1/8 inches by 5 3/16 inches. There is a tack hole in the middle of the top edge of the image. There are several scratches on the back of the card. The edges are somewhat irregular leading us to believe that the card was slightly trimmed. The bottom edge has some chipping along most of its length. There is some writing on the back in pencil but it is in a language using characters which we are unable to read. The reference number for this item is #4122.
