Description: 1843 French New Testament printed by D. Fanshaw for The American Bible Society This particular printing is a bit uncommon. This was translated from the Latin Vulgate. Being printed for the American Bible Society during this time period is quite odd as they were a Protestant organization printing a Catholic testament. It's a very interesting piece for collectors of American Bible Society printings! Hinges split but covers still holding by cords. Top of title page has been trimmed down. Measures a little over 4.5" x 3" and not quite 1" thick. Please review pictures for a better idea of the condition.
