It is often mistaken as an original by novice collectors as there is no indication that it is a facsimile. The book replicates the 1843 cover designs, print fonts, and beautiful John Leech illustrations. Like the original, it measures 4.5 x 6.75 inches. Construction is hard cover, embossed paper litho over boards with gilt cover designs, antique textured pages, and gilt edges. The book is in excellent condition overall, appears unread.
