Head of both joints of volume I, and head of rear joint of volume III starting and holding firm, with front joint of volume II also starting. Bookplates and bookseller's label to each front pastedown, with further bookplate to front free endpaper of volume I. Loss to head of first leaf of chapter I to volume II, with former owner's inscription.
