Description: This is the very scarce (R4, less than 200) 1795 No Pole C5b flowing hair Half Cent straight graded by PCGS Fine 12! What an awesome coin. It was likely struck over a large cent that didn't pass quality control but the half cent die for all C5's had a die crack right in the middle. They just didn't have enough money to make more dies and planchets so they used what they had available, including striking over some tokens! With careful examination, you may be able to find some remnants on this coin of its host. If you already have thin planchet C5a, this C5b thick planchet is an awesome compliment!PCGS puts this coin at $2750. I'm asking less but feel free to make a reasonable offer.
