Description: PCGS authenticated and graded AU 55. Choice glossy light to medium chocolate brown with hints of slightly lighter brown toning in the fields and protected areas. Mostly smooth except for some tiny planchet chips around the date, MASS, and COMMON (as struck). The chipping does not catch your eye. The only other defect is a minor rim bruise just past the third S in MASSACHUSETTS. Struck slightly off center to the top leaving the bottom edge of the date off the planchet. The centers are sharply impressed. A very nice Massachusetts Cent, just lightly worn. Ex; George Trostel Collection Year - 1788Variety - Ryder 3-ARarity - 4
