Grading Guide (These are my own definitions of card grades, and I will categorize the cards I sell to the best of my ability. I am not a professional grader.) MINT - Cards are pulled straight from the pack and put into sleeves. These cards have never been played and are "pack fresh". They may have certain factory marks on them, but nothing major and will not detract from the overall condition. Will look just like a card that has been opened from a booster. NM - Cards that may show the slightest signs of play. There might be a few very light scratches on the front or back of the card (likely from being slid across a table during a draft), or slight sleeve marks on the face of the card. Generally looks like a new card, but upon very close inspection it will show slight signs of play. SP - Slightly played. Cards will show evidence of play, but always in sleeves. There may be some light scratches on the front and/or back, some sleeve burn on the surface of the cards, and/or evidence of riffle shuffling. The cards will look appealing, and sleeved up in a deck they will appear the same as other NM cards. MP - Moderately played. Cards will show evidence of a medium amount of use, usually in sleeves. Surfaces may have a slight loss of shine and show wear on the front and back, due to sleeve burn on the surface of the card. There will likely be signs of riffle shuffling. Cards may show some wear around the borders. Some unsleeved play is possible, but will not detract from the overall integrity of the card. Sleeved up, the card will only show some slight wear and will be perfectly playable. HP - Heavily played. Cards will show loss of color, wear around the borders, and/or slight creases or bends. The cards will still be tournament playable, but sleeves will be required to hide wear on the card. Damaged - Cards that have heavy creases, tears, and/or bends. Most likely will not be legal for tournament play, only casual play.
